I could never understand people who felt that the library was an errand. To me, it was a destination. Mother subscribed me to "Children's Classics" so I had Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, 40,000 Leagues, Little House series. So for me the library was all about Andre Norton, fantasy, certain non-fiction books on historical dress, and books not written "for children"
