Welcome to Plot Points, where I share fantasy-related media, books, non-fiction pieces, and various forms of entertainment that have caught my attention for one reason or another.
I know I’m in the minority, but I didn’t love Mistborn. The first book was fine, but the third was a brick that made me cry to get through - and not in a good way. I’ve been afraid to read any Sanderson since. However, I did love your video! Very charming!
The first book was a slog too. Definitely not a book you can put down for a few days and expect to remember who was who when you come back to it. But I have found it creatively inspirational. Thanks for reading, and watching the video, Stace!
Yeah, the Mistborn series is really good and the magic system is ingenious. Love that cover you found for Mistborn - really cool, I haven't seen that art before.

The magic system was a stroke of brilliance, I thought! Thanks for reading, Dan.
