Storygraph is pretty good about recommendations, but I often rely on others and recommended reads from Amazon. I know that sounds silly, but since I own a kindle and I can get both my library books and other books on the kindle, I get a lot of great recommendations for other books because of what I've read. Also, don't discount social media! If you follow the right people you can a lot of great reads from indie authors.
