I’ve popped in to let you know that An Enchanted Life’s two favorite features, ‘Fantasy Friday Chat’ and ‘Serial Saturday’ will both be back next week.

You may have noticed I’ve been quieter than usual lately.

Some of you know, but I expect the majority of you do not, that the Grim Reaper has been hanging out at our house a lot lately - and it’s not for the cookies!

In June, my father died.

In September, my partner of 24 years died unexpectedly and without warning.

A week later, our neighbor tried to burn his house and ours down. (He succeeded with his, it was a close thing with ours. A fact that is still giving me nightmares)

Last week, my mother died.

Grief still comes and punches me in the chest when I least expect it, and I need a few days to catch my breath.

The plan is to come back next week with a new ‘Fantasy Friday’ chat, a new public-domain, classic fantasy tale to share on ‘Serial Saturday’, and a publication schedule for the remainder of November and December.
