Fantasy Friday Chat: Artifacts
We’re trying something new today. Instead of having this chat only in the threads, I thought we might have a conversation here in the main space, where more of us come together.
So tell us,
If you could possess any magical artifact, what would it be?
Would you choose Ariadne’s Corona Borealis, The One Ring of Middle Earth, Fafnir’s Golden Chainmail, Harry Potter’s Invisibility Cloak, or perhaps the Finnish Sampo which was reputed to bring riches and good fortune to the one who possessed it? Perhaps you would choose another object of mythical power? Share your thoughts in the comments section!
I thought about this for awhile. There's a lot of cool artifacts out there - so many to choose from. I ended up with the Genie's Lamp from Aladdin (that was an early fantasy book in my opinion). What's better that wishes? Nothing beats them in my book. Sure Stormbringer or Grayswandir would be cool, but I could always wish for them! 🧞♂️🗡️💎
