Fantasy stories are rich with unique creatures, each contributing to unique world-building and the thematic depth of their respective stories.
I guess I still like the Ents.
I wish Tolkien had given us more of the Ents

I still can't get past the Ents - or more particularly the Entwives who we never meet.
I do love dragons though. And kitsune.
When I was a kid I wished dragons were real. I guess a part of me still hopes there's a misty, forgotten valley somewhere that is hidden and large enough to support a small group of dragons.
Lately I've been diving deeper into the Sphinx - something cool about them and lots of lore and history to dig into across the centuries of writing.
That's awesome, Dan! I don't know that much about Sphinx. I should rectify that...
